The Procona system is a package being made up of a plastic container, a cardboard collar which fits the container and lid with many openings. The package is developed in such a way that the flowers keep their quality during transportation.

The costumer can clearly see the colour of the flowers through the lid. The corners of the lid are very stiff and strong by means of ribs. Ridges have been made on the lid, so that the package cannot shift, when stacked on the lid.

When stacked, a following container does not completely shut off the lid. There are 30 ventilation openings in the lid. The water vapour can escape the package. the cold air can enter. These ventilation openings are important to preserve the quality of the flowers during transportation and storage.
